The PDX Help Center provides users with numerous ways to understand the different offerings available through the system. This article will provide a roadmap of the best ways to effectively utilize the Help Center, and the available articles.
Top Bar
Let's begin at the top of the front page of our Help Center.
Each link provided in the header bar directs users to PremiereDigital.com's pages that elaborate further on Premiere's SaaS offerings. We encourage users to explore these pages, even if they are already utilizing one of our other services, there may be another solution we can offer!
At the top of the Help Center menu, users will also see a profile icon that will either allow the user to sign in or, if signed in, provide the following pages:
- My Activities - This section allows users to view all support tickets they’ve submitted, been CC’d on, or that were created by others in their organization.
- My Profile - This section provides an expanded overview of the user’s activity within the Help Center, including interaction with articles, posts, and other available options.
-
Sign In/Out
- Please note that Premiere’s Support team manages all user accounts within the Help Center. However, accounts are created through Zendesk.
- The easiest way to set up an account is to submit an initial ticket to our team. Afterward, attempt to sign in to Zendesk using the same email address. This will trigger a verification process, granting you full access to the pages mentioned above.
- Note: Signing up is not required to view most Help Center articles.
Profile Options
My Activities
When clicked, this will take the user to the My Requests page by default. On this page, the user will see three tabs:
-
Requests - This tab displays all requests submitted by the user or their organization. It also includes any requests where the user was CC’d.
- Users can search and filter requests by Status or other ticket details to help locate specific issues more easily.
- Users can search and filter requests by Status or other ticket details to help locate specific issues more easily.
- My Contributions - Currently, users cannot leave comments on most articles. However, if a comment was left on an article that allows it, the comment history will appear here.
- Following - While users are currently unable to follow articles, sections, users, posts, or topics in most areas, where available, they can choose to follow specific articles in the Help Center to revisit them later.
My Profile
The user profile details their activities across our Help Center along with allowing the user to edit their profile.
Article Search
The Article Search lets users search the entire knowledge base using any keyword.
In this example, the user searched using the word “Title.” Any article containing the word “Title” will appear in the search results.
Note: The author name, date, and timestamp displayed on each article reflect when it was originally published—not when it was last updated. Our teams regularly revise and update articles to ensure they stay accurate as the system evolves.
Promoted Articles
If you're new to PDX, these three articles are the best places to start. Each one offers valuable insights and may link to helpful workflows or related content. We recommend exploring all of them to get the most out of your experience.
Table Of Contents
This section of the Help Center allows users to navigate through various articles organized by the following categories:
General - These articles will cover general knowledge such as logging in, submitting a ticket, or even frequently asked questions.
Titles - These articles will all things related to Titles in PDX along with managing their metadata, playlists, and avails.
Assets - These articles will cover assets through using Asset Ingest and Media Portal.
Orders - These articles will cover Orders, Order management, and Tasks.
PDX Quick Links - These articles cover the Quick Links access menu, including special pages—such as the Work Dashboard—that can be accessed through it.
These categories are designed to align with the main areas of the PDX user interface, making it easier to find relevant information based on where you're working in the system.
Article Navigation
Users can access articles through either the Search function or the Table of Contents. If the desired article doesn’t appear directly in the Table of Contents, users can first navigate to the relevant section to browse additional articles within that category.
Users may access a section by clicking the bold word at the top of each article square in the Table of Contents.
Clicking a section header will take the user to a full list of articles within that section.
It's also worth noting that, no matter which article a user is viewing, the Table of Contents remains accessible on the left side of the page for easy navigation.
Once inside the article, the user will notice that the article will detail when it was last updated below the title.
Under Recently Viewed Articles, this section displays a list of articles the user has recently accessed. This makes it easy to quickly return to previously viewed content.
Related articles are suggested based on relevant content or keywords within the current article. This section may update and display different articles over time as we add or revise content.
Not every article will see a related articles section.
Finally, at the end of long articles, users may notice a link—shown below—that allows them to return to the first header of the same article for easy navigation.
