How To Update Orders via Spreadsheet Upload

  • Updated

In this article, users will learn how to update a Standard, AssetLite, and TitleLite Order via spreadsheet. Please note that order spreadsheets cannot be used to update existing deliverables or order items. Users can use this tool to add additional order items & deliverables to a given order.

Instructions on how to create a new standard order can be found here

TitleLite orders and their associated order items will not have PDXTitle records tied to the orders. Instead, the order items store the title's information inside the order item. The intent of TitleLite orders are to be a one and done product.

Prerequisites

  • Have The Order Template
    • To get the Order template, the user must click the “manually” toggle to “By File” and then click “Select”.
    • This will open a pop-up for “PDX Order Template”. This will open another pop-up that dims the background. The user will see the option to download a blank “PDX Order Template”.
  • Have the Order ID
    • This 6-digit ID can be found in either the URL or in the UI.
      • For example, the below order's ID is 880573.
  • Once the user has the Order ID copied, open the downloaded template and paste this value into column P.

Users should ensure they are selecting the correct options and entering the correct data before proceeding by referring to their provider/platform's SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) or internal documentation. This workflow may not be supported by the provider or platform.
