The History page in the Media Portal allows users to view and manage records of their previous interactions with assets, including:
-
Bulk Download History, which displays a list of assets that the user has previously bulk downloaded.
-
External Sharing History, which tracks the history of assets that have been shared externally with other users.
To access the History page, navigate to the Media Portal main page.
Next, the user should click on the “..." menu located on the top-right side of the page, and from the dropdown menu, select History.
The History page is divided into two tabs for better organization and usability. Download and Asset Sharing.
Download
This tab contains a record of all bulk asset downloads initiated by the user. These assets remain accessible for renewed download directly from the history list, allowing for quick and convenient access without needing to initiate a new request.
The following details are available in the Download tab
- Checkout At: When the bulk download was initiated.
- Cart Size: The total size of the download.
- Number of Cart Items: The count of assets included in the bulk download.
- Status: The current status of the download (e.g., Completed, Failed).
- Action: Allows the user to re-download a previously completed bulk download.
To re-download assets, navigate to the Downloads tab within the History page and locate the desired download entry. Simply click the download button on the right side of the page to begin the re-download.
Please note that If the bulk asset download size is less than 1000 MB, the system will use the standard client download method to save the files directly to the user’s computer.
For downloads exceeding 1000 MB, the system will display the following message to the user: “Your download is being processed. An email will be sent when your download is ready.”
The email notification will confirm that the download is ready and will include a link to the Download History page, where the user can click the download link to access their file.
Asset Sharing
The Asset Sharing tab on the History page provides a comprehensive view and management capabilities for all shared asset packages.
-
- Deactivate:
Selecting this option deactivates the package, effectively disabling the link for the shared assets. This action applies to all recipients of the package, ensuring the shared assets are no longer accessible. - Clone:
Cloning a package launches the Asset Sharing module, allowing the user to create a duplicate share. Users can edit the current list of recipients during this process. - Note: If you need to modify the assets included in a share, the most efficient approach is to create a new share.
- Currently, it is not possible to add additional assets to an existing cart or wishlist unless those assets are already included.
- Add to Wishlist:
This option enables users to add the assets from a package to a new or existing wishlist within the Media Portal, providing a streamlined way to organize and access assets for future use.

Filtering
On the left side of the page, there is a Filter icon that allows users to refine the displayed shared assets by any field.
Once the filter icon is clicked, the fields transform into dropdown menus, enabling users to filter the results based on their chosen criteria.
Of the fields available, Package Name and Assets can not be filtered.
