Title Assets (Intro)

  • Updated

Title pages are available to provide all available data in PDX around a title in one location.

This article will cover the third tab on a title's version page: the asset tab. On this page, users have the ability to view the asset counts available, broken out by asset type and language. Users can click through for more details on each specific asset.

This article will cover the following topics:

Asset Page

If a high variety of assets is available for a title, the asset data will appear in a high level grid of available asset information.

For a link to an article explaining different asset types, head here.

To view each features, click on each feature listed on the grid.

Clicking each feature, it will open up the grid with all the details.

Each number in the grid shows how many of that type of asset are in the system. Hovering a mouse over a number in the grid will reveal information about the asset.

Clicking on the number will take a user to a new window where a user can see the selected assets.

Asset Proxy

Users may also play a video proxy from the asset list of files. To do so, users should select the blue play arrow beside the file name. If the file's arrow is gray, it means there is no proxy available for that particular asset.

Proxy files also include an HR00 time code, which eliminates the need for an M-ref file. The HR00 time code aligns all assets to the QC pass master and includes both hour one and hour zero time codes.

These time codes appear in the top left corner of the user's proxy viewing window.

When the "Required Fields" toggle is turned on, any field that is required will be shown, and all else will be hidden.
