This article will provide instructions on how to add or remove deliverables from an order. When a new asset is needed to be delivered to platform or the asset is no longer needed for the delivery.
Adding / Removing deliverables from the order item page
Adding / removing deliverables can easily be done on the order item page. Once there, click on the blue + Add/Remove Deliverables button located to the right of the action menu.
This will open a new menu where users can choose the following actions:
- Apply Template - Add multiple deliverables via a pre-defined template
- Add - Add a single deliverable to the order item
- Remove - Remove a single deliverable on the order item
Adding deliverables via Template
If applying a template, one important thing to note is that the dropdown menu will ONLY allow users to select templates set up for the specific provider the order item is intended for. If unable to locate the template, please double check that the provider / client matches.
Adding Single Deliverables
To add a single deliverable, please select the deliverable type in the dropdown menu. PDX will dynamically provide additional fields based on the selected deliverable. Anything with a red asterisk (*) will be mandatory.
To confirm this change click on OK once all required fields are filled out. The page will automatically reload with the new deliverable added.
Removing Deliverable Type
To remove an entire deliverable type from the order item, click on remove. Select the deliverable to remove from the Deliverable Type dropdown. This dropdown will ONLY display deliverables that are available on this order item for removal.
Once the deliverable is selected a field to supply the Remove Reason Code will appear and is mandatory to proceed with deleting the deliverable.
To confirm this change click on OK once all required fields are filled out. The page will automatically reload with the deliverable deleted.
One important thing to note is using this menu will delete ALL deliverables with this deliverable type. For example if the order item has a SDH (en) and a SDH (es-419), selecting SDH in this menu will delete both deliverables.
Remove Specific Deliverables
To remove specific deliverables on the order item click on the checkbox for each deliverable.
Once selected, click on the Actions menu and select Delete.
Users will once again be prompted for a Remove Reason.
Once a Remove reason is provided, click on Delete to finalize this change. The page will automatically reload with the deliverables deleted.
Adding / Removing Deliverables in Bulk
Deliverables can be added / removed from order items in bulk. This can be done while on the order detail page OR order items dashboard.
Via the Order Detail Page:
While on the order detail page or order item dashboard, select the desired Order Item(s) these deliverables will be added to
Then click on the Select Action menu and select Add/Remove Deliverable from the drop-down. There will be a counter next to the option that indicates how many order items have been selected.
Once selected, users will be prompted the same steps as if they are adding/removing deliverables from an individual order item. The only difference is any changes will apply across all selected order items. If the deliverable does not exist on one order item, PDX will skip that order item for that action.
