Territory templates allow users to create and save several default territory template specs per provider. Using these pre-made templates help facilitate the different services or platforms associate with the provider. In this article we'll be going over how to navigate to, edit, and create Territory Templates within PDX.
Territory Templates can be accessed by clicking on “Organizations” on the quick link icon at the top right.
Choose the “Providers” option from the drop-down menu.
In the provider dashboard, navigate and find the applicable provider and click on the edit button to the far right. This will bring up the Edit Provider Pop-up Window. For more information on navigating the Providers Dashboard, please refer to our Providers Guide.
In the upper right-hand corner of the new popup window is the “View Territory Templates” button.
Clicking on it will bring the user to the Territory Templates page. Here, users may find all previously created territory templates.
Modify or Delete Templates
Users can edit or delete each template by selecting on the actions icon to the far right.
When editing, users will be given a new popup where they can rename the template or add/remove territories.
Add Template
Back on the main Territory Template page, click on the “Add Template” button located in the upper right-hand corner of the page. Clicking on that will bring a user to the “Add Territory Template” where users can create new territory templates.
A new pop-up window will allow users to add new territories to this template. Please note that PDX uses ISO country codes. For more information on ISO country codes, please visit here for a full list.
Users may add multiple territories, with the name representing the intent/template the user may use to represent those territories. This template can be modified at any time with the instructions provided above.
