Title Metadata/Localizations (Intro)

  • Updated

This article will cover the localization tab located on title pages.

The localization tab allows users to add, edit and filter the metadata based on language, territory and platform.

These three values are available for filtering at the top of the page:

The "Expand All" button both expands and collapses all below sections.

Each of these sections in localization has similar functionality. Click on a section to expand, or use "Expand All" button. There, a user can add new options or edit fields except Language, Territory, and Platform for the section.

Besides the fields that are filterable, they are editable. Clicking in an editable field, as in the red rectangle below, will cause a text box to appear. Clicking "Show Empty Rows" will show all available languages, whether there is data entered or not.

At the bottom left, user can click "Add New" to add a new item to that category.

Users can set varying ratings options per territory from the below columns:

  • Rating System - Upon selecting the drop-down menu carrot by each Rating System, users will be able to adjust localized rating reasons.
  • Rating - Users can select from the drop-down menu shown above to indicate the specific rating for that particular territory.
  • Rating Advisory - For territories with controlled Advisories (US, BR, AU, NZ, ZA and SG), users can select the drop-down menu and edit the value.

Keep in mind, each territory has its own unique ratings, which then correspond with the rating system and those details therein. To learn more about these from our article and for other helpful links on Ratings and Rating Reasons, click here.
