Users may assign assets to a title and observe them under that title version in PDX. This article will explain how to navigate the Title Asset tab.
To navigate to a Title's Assets tab the user must first locate a title, by default it will open in the Metadata tab.
Once in the title of the user's choice, the user must click the "Assets" tab. And depending on the asset, the user may see an assortment of various assets organized by language and asset type.
Please note, other content types listed on the left side (Original *Original as shown in the image provided) may not have assets listed as the assets shown are assigned to the Theatrical content type.
Once on the Assets tab, the user may click the asset in question that they need to reference. For this example, we can use the 5 "Artwork" assets.
On the next screen, the user has several options:
- If the user wants to navigate back to the columned list of assets they may click
in the upper left of the Assets Tab.
- In situations where the user is expecting new assets under that type, the user may also click the
button in the upper right of the Assets tab.
- If the user has a new asset to ingest, the user may click the "Ingest New Asset".
- If this option is selected, a pop-up will appear that will proceed to pre-fill the metadata from the title and asset distinction that will include it among the list of other assets on the same page.
- If there is a longer list of assets, the user may filter the results by filling out the applicable filters:
- Filename, if known
- Ingest Status
- Ingest Date
- Asset Status
- QC (Quality Control) Status
- Frame Rate
- Picture Text such as subtitled, textless, and pseudo textless
- STD (Standard Definition Visual Quality such as 2K, 4K, and UHD)
- Channels
- Colors
- The user may also sort the assets by the same filter options in the columns.
Once the user finds the asset they desire, they may click the asset listed and a new page will open that displays the Asset's Metadata. For more information on navigating an asset page, click here.
