The Work in Progress (WIP) Dashboard is designed to provide a real-time overview of order items and tasks currently managed by the Premiere teams. This tool helps departments monitor and manage their workload based on order item due dates, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. The WIP page serves as the default starting page in PDX.

Or by clicking into the Quick Link icon at the top right of PDX and selecting WIP

The WIP dashboard is split into 2 sections: Order items or Tasks

Order Items

The Order Item tab displays all Order Items currently in progress, categorized by the following departments:

  • Client Services
  • Mastering
  • Fulfillment

Clicking on the Expand All button at the top of the list will expand all departments and shows the total number of order items for each department for each open order status. These Order items are grouped based on the order due dates to help effectively prioritize workloads.

Clicking on any of these categories will redirect to the Order Item Dashboard with filters applied. This allows users to:

  • Search for Specific Order Items: Utilize various filters to quickly locate specific order items.
  • Access Detailed Data: View detailed information about each individual order item, including its status, history, and any associated notes.

Tasks

Users can navigate to the tasks portion of the WIP dashboard by clicking on the Tasks tab located at the top of the page.

This dashboard provides an organized and efficient way to manage tasks across orders. PDX allows for duplicated tasks across orders to be grouped into a single task on this dashboard, which reduces effort for users.

This dashboard displays both Mastering and Fulfillment tasks.

Saving and Sharing Filters

Users have the ability to save their customized filters on the Work Dashboard for future use. Additionally, saved filters can be shared with other users to ensure consistency and streamline workflows.

  • Save Filters: Once a filter is set, users can click on the Save Filter option to save their current filter settings. Saved filters are not universal across PDX; filters saved in one page are not applicable to a different page's filters.
  • Share Filters: Saved filters can be shared with other users by selecting the Share Filter option, allowing team members to collaborate on tasks.
