Duplicating A Playlist
Duplicating a playlist allows for easy recreation and changing the composition of the new playlist, with the same items within it.
To do this, the user must first click the playlist they would like to duplicate. The playlist should turn gray.
Once selected, the user should click the "Select Action" box in the upper right, the one located within the playlist toolbar.
Within the given options, the user should click "Duplicate playlist". Once clicked, the user will see a pop-up appear that asks the user to select the territory the playlist will represent. The user has the option to select multiple territories. Please note, one playlist will be created per territory.
Once the territories have been selected, the user should click Save. It may take a minute to complete, but once completed, the user should see a confirmation in the UI and visually see a playlist created for each additional territory.
Adding Another Title To A Playlist
To add another title to a playlist, the user must first click "View Assets" that exist within the playlist. This will expand the playlist.
At the bottom of the playlist selected, the user should see an "Add to Playlist" option. Clicking this will open a new window or tab directing the user to the "Add Assets" menu.
Within the playlist, the user must next find and select an asset by utilizing the correct filters and identifiers for what they would like to add.
The user should select the correct item they intended to add and select if it is Pre- or Post-Roll and if they intend for the asset to be skippable in the playlist.
Once the correct options have been selected, the user should click the blue plus to the right of the Skippable column.
The user will see the asset added to the above "Playlist Items" collapsible menu. It will be removed from the generated assets below "Add Assets."
Once completed, the user can save the changes by clicking the blue "Add" button at the bottom. Once completed, the user will see a message in the UI confirming the item was added and can be observed in the playlist.
Organizing Positions Within The Playlist
If a user wants to modify the position of the assets in a playlist, the user can do this by dragging the asset like so:
Once the item is in the correct position, the user must click "Save Position" at the bottom of the playlist.
Once completed, the user should see a confirmation in the UI and the "Save Position" button should be grayed out.
Removing A Title From A Playlist
If a user wants to remove an asset from a playlist, the user can do this by clicking the black "x" in the far right of the assets listed in the playlist.
The user should immediately see a pop-up that warns the user, asking if they are sure they want the asset deleted from the playlist. The user can confirm this by clicking "Yes".
Once deleted, the user should see the UI confirm the successful removal of an asset from a playlist.
Renaming An Existing Playlist
Another modification to a playlist that a user can perform is renaming a playlist. To do this, the user must first select the playlist of choice.
Once selected, the user should click the "Select Action" drop-down on the Playlist toolbar and click "Rename Playlist".
Once clicked, the user will see a pop-up called "Rename Playlist" that provides a text field for the user to enter the new playlist name. Once the user has entered the desired name, the user should click "Save" to confirm changes.
A user will see a visual confirmation in the UI stating it was successful and also notice the playlist renamed in within the set of playlists displayed.
